DAE is a fast developing global aerospace, manufacturing and services corporation made up of six divisions DAE Capital, DAE Engineering, DAE Services, DAE Manufacturing, DAE Airports, and DAE Flight Academy.
Headquartered in Dubai, the group is growing through a series of phased developments and acquisitions to become a global player and to produce an integrated aerospace cluster, based at Dubai World Central the new 140 square kilometre airport and logistics city being constructed in Jebel Ali, Dubai. It is forming international partnerships at the highest level of industry with the aim of establishing one of the most innovative and successful businesses in the global aerospace industry within the next decade.
DAEs shareholders include the Government of Dubai, Dubai International Capital, DIFC Investments LLC, EMAAR, ISTITHMAR World, Dubai Silicon Oasis (DSO), AMLAK Finance.
DAE Capital
Aircraft leasing, financing and insurance with other value-added management services with a global presence.Demand potential in the acquisition of new aircraft, particularly in the Middle East and Asia, drives DAE Capital, a sector that features the ability to offer attractive leasing terms, regional experience, preferred access to local banks and a customized capital structure.
DAE Manufacturing
research & development, parts manufacturing, sub-systems assembly and supply chain integration.
DAE Flight Academy
an aviation campus for undergraduate and graduate levels, offering programs in administration, management and engineering. Undergraduate programs include Flight and Aviation Management, Business Administration, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Air Traffic Management and Aviation Maintenance Management. Graduate programs include MBA in Aerospace Management, Air Transport Management, Airport Operations and Management and Global Logistics. Plans for post-doctoral/Ph.D. level accreditation are underway.
DAE Airports

DAE Engineering
a global centre for aviation maintenance and support including heavy maintenance, line maintenance, component MRO and engine MRO.

focused on technology based solutions, both products and services. This includes media and events, technology, space and other services.
DAE Achievements
On 12 November 2007 DAE signed letters of intent for aircraft order worth $27 billion at the 2007 Dubai Airshow. The order comprises 200, equally split, aircraft between Airbus and Boeing: 70 A320s, 30 A350 XWBs, 70 B737s, 10 B777-300ERs, 15 B787s and 5 B747-8Fs.
