Vizontele is a 2001 Turkish film directed by Yilmaz Erdogan and Omer Faruk Sorak.

Synopsis

It tells the story of some incidents following the arrival of the first television to a little village in Eastern Turkey during early seventies. It is one of the most viewed movies in theatres until G.O.R.A. Although it is a comedy, it contains very seriously worked messages but still leaving the viewers with lots of entertainment. The main advantage is coming from the dialogues which gives all the purity and naturality of villagers.

The main actors are Yilmaz Erdogan as Deli Emin (Crazy Emin), Altan Erkekli as Nazmi, Demet Akbag as Siti Ana, Cem Yilmaz as Fikri. After the movie being very well received, Yilmaz Erdogan shot a sequel at 2004, Vizontele Tuuba keeping the most of the cast present.
