Thadig is city in Nejd, Saudi Arabia. It is a historical city established about four centuries ago. It is located to the north from Riyadh (about 150 km). Renowned families of Thadiq include the Al-Swilem, Al-Essa and Al-Manea(of the Aldawasir tribe of Alazd) Al-Shaikh, AL-Sheban, AL-Haidary, Al-Hajri, Al-Majed, Al-Daham, Al-Dorayhim,AL-Hudeal, Al-Ganam, AL-Waheby and Al-ghathbar, Al-Mohawes, Al-Jedaie, families. Also, as historical books said that Al-Swilem and Al-Essa, Al-Manea family was the governor of Thadiq.
