Pakistan International School Jeddah (formerly Pakistan Embassy School Jeddah) is one of the largest community-based schools in Saudi Arabia. It is located on Taj-ud-Makki Street in Al-Azizyah District of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. It is an International School, affiliated with the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) of Islamabad, Pakistan.
Overview
Pakistan International School Jeddah (formerly Pakistan Embassy School Jeddah) is one of the largest community-based schools in Saudi Arabia. It is located on Taj-ud-Makki Street in Al-Azizyah District of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. It was previusly located in baghdadiah from 1959 to 1984. It is an International School, affiliated with the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) of Islamabad, Pakistan. The school was established to serve the children of the large Pakistani expatriate community living in Jeddah and adjacent cities. It has a student body of more than 8500.
The school operates in two shifts - the morning shift comprising middle, secondary and higher-secondary classes and an afternoon shift comprising preparatory and primary school. The primary medium of instruction is English, Urdu- and Sindhi-medium tracks are also available till secondary level.
The school has two wings, one for boys and the other for girls. A connecting building in-between the two wings houses the administrative offices. The school also has a large auditorium with an occupancy of 300 - 500 people. There is a large open-air basketball court located between the two wings.
The girls wing also offers private BA degrees (Bachelor of Arts) in limited subjects affiliated with University of Karachi, Pakistan.
The school also had a satellite branch, the Pakistan International School Jeddah (English Section), located in Ar-Rehab District of Jeddah. It offers IGCSE-based curriculum of United Kingdom. Now-a-days, this branch is known as P I S J English Section, and is completely independent of its parent school, i.e., PISJ main school.
Aims and Objectives
The school seeks to provide educational experience and opportunities that assist the students in developing an integrated pattern if competence, intellectual curiosity and social responsibility. Underlying these basic goals is the strong commitment of excellence in instruction. The school is alert to changing educational requirements of the students and endeavors to meet them.

Admission Policy
For admission to prep class, a child should be 3+to 4 years, 4 +to 5 years for class I (juniors) and 5+ 6 years for class I(seniors) on 31st march of the years of the admission. However, relaxation of maximum up to three months could be given in deserving cases. As per policy of Saudi government a student is allowed to stay at the school up to 18 years of age and any relaxation in this regard, can only be given by the ministry of education.
Proper birth certificate, copies of parents passports and valid iqama are required with the application form at the time of admission with 2 passport size photographs, two additional photographs for bus facility (subject to availability of seat). A student stay in Saudi Arabia should remain legal for the entire time of his admission in the school
Admission to other classes is open to all Pakistani/other nationality students on the basis of producing an original leaving certificate from the school last attended duly attested by district education officer, after qualifying prescribed admission test of the school.,
In accordance with Saudi policies, the school reserves the right to deny and cancel admission of any student, if the relevant papers if the student are not complete and valid.
Admission of handicapped students is also possible, subject to consideration on a case basis and availability of required facilities.
History
Old Building
The old building was located in Baghdadiah Dist; Jeddah. it is one of the oldest school of jedda for pakistani community.they environment of school is typically pakistan, that you have a feel of yuor home. the teacher are very strict in the matter of education and they education standard is soo good.
New Building
The present new building was made operational in 1984. It is located on Taj-ud-Makki Street in Al-Azizyah District. A handsome number of Pakistani families also resides in this area. Being close to the school campus, their children are facilitated.
English Section
A new independent campus known as the 'English Section' offering O'Level and A'Level was established in 1995 by the then ambassador Mr. Shahid Amin, Cosul General Mr. Arif Kamal, Cosul CA Col. Nisar, Consul Education Prof. Mahmood-ul-Haq Haqqani and Director Finance PESJ, Mr. Anwer R. Farooqui.
Now-a-days, this branch is known as P I S J English Section, and is completely independent of its parent school, i.e., PISJ.

Events
Pakistan International school Jeddah not only provide students with excellent education facilities but also give them the opportunity to expose their talents. This school is known one of the best for its extracurricular activities. It regularly celeberates Pakistan's National day on 14th of August with full enthusiasm,different programmes are performed on both boys and girls section. Due to the availibility of one Auditorium, one day boys wing have their function and on the other girls wing. Counsulate general is invited to the function as a chief guest.
23rd March (Pakistan's Resolution day), 9th of November(Iqbal Day), 25th of December(Quaid-e-Azam Day) and many other functions are held in the school. This School had won several debate compititon. Sports events also take place.
Sports Day
Sports day, the day on which the students exhibit their abilities is held regularly every year in mid of January and February. Sports day is usually held in the Girl's wing. Due to lack of facilities and Time, practice for the event is in between the classes.
At least one month before the Annual sports day,Badge ceremony is held in which the In charges and sports captains are given the sashes, caps and badges the highest post is for Sports Secretary. After the ceremony, the Basketball, Throwball and Badminton events are held. Eight houses compete in their best professional manner, every participant wears the jacket showing their house colour. Every event has its own Sports In charges,every house has its own Sports Captain. The Annual Sports day starts with the National anthem and many national songs. March Past is the first event, opening event, welcome event, races, skipping, P.T, gymnastics and many other events are held which are fully enjoyed by the students and the chief guests. Cups and certificates are awarded to the winners.
BOYS have their sports activities outside the school in different clubs. The most Favourite among the boys is Cricket. Houses compete with each other. There are total eight houses namely Ayubi House, Bilal House, Ghazali House, Iqbal House, Jinnah House, Khalid House, Qasim House and Tariq House. These houses compete each other in different games and sports.
