Machine Sazi Tabriz F.C. (more commonly known as Machine Sazi) is an Iranian football club based in Tabriz, East Azerbaijan. They currently play the Azadegan League. The team is owned by Machine Sazi Tabriz (M.S.T.) Group.The club is now owned by (Physical Education Organization East Azarbaijan)

Club History

Club was founded in 1970 and the team participated in Takht Jamshid Cup between 1973 to 1977. From 1977 onwards

the team played in Tabriz Football League and in the 1990s played in Azadegan League which was Iran's main league

at the time. With the launch of Iranian Premier League, Machine Sazi has played in Azadegan League Iran's First Division League.

1980s

Like most sporting clubs in Iran, the revolution and the Iran-Iraq War severely limited the team's activities. From 1979 to 1980 the club participated in almost no meaningful competitions.In 1980 the Tabriz Football League and Tabriz Hazfi Cup was established.Machine Sazi participated the Tabriz Football League and Tabriz Hazfi Cup between 1980 to 1988.and Machine Sazi was Champion Tabriz Football League(1980), Tabriz Hazfi Cup(1980). Machine Sazi is the most successful Tabriz Football League club in clinching seven championship titles ( in years 1980-81-83-85-86-87-88) and finishing two times as runner-up( in years 1982-84).After the war the local and provincial leagues were scrapped in favor of nation-wide leagues.

1990s

After the war the Azadegan League was established. Machine Sazi promoted Azadegan Leaguein year 1993-94.Club is Best Shahrestani (i.e. non-Tehrani) Team Award( in season 1995).Next year the club finished 8th in the standings.in season 1996-97 Machine Sazi relegated 2nd Division.between 1997 to 2001 club played in 2nd Division.

Club stadium

Before the construction of Yadegar-e-Emam Stadium,Machine Sazi , played its all matches at Bagh Shomal Stadium or the Takhti Stadium of Tabriz . They have played some of their home games at Yadegar-e-Emam Stadium,
